GET INVOLVED!

The LOCKED ministry is a challenge to believers to take the kindness and love that God has already shown us, through the gift of His Son and share it with others. Over 2,000 years ago, God gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, to the world, in order to save all those who believe in Him. Jesus took our place, and paid the penalty for our sins. Because of that sacrifice, all men everywhere have the invitation to be saved from their sins, if they will put their faith in Jesus Christ. This is the greatest act of love ever expressed in all of history, and it began with a gift.

What a wonderful way to show someone the love of Jesus Christ. We meet twice a month for a church service, with singing, a message, and then we get to visit with all our friends, the residence at the LifeCare Center in Mount Vernon, WA. We also get the opportunity once a month to enjoy a time of just singing praise to the Lord, and praying with and visiting our friends. We may not always be on key, but we always have a good time, and it is a tremendous blessing for all of us to be a part of this ministry.

We believe the Bible teaches that believers are to share their faith, as expressed in Christ’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). We fulfill that commission in a variety of ways, including tract distribution, personal (one-to-one) evangelism, door-to-door evangelism, and open air proclamation of the Gospel in the streets.
